Nicola Buttari "Deforma visual" is a video designer for events and shows and a graphic and video design teacher.
After the Academy of Digital Arts “Nemo NT” in Florence (2005) he began working as a graphic and web designer. His educational journey in
Canada (2006) aroused in him a strong passion for animation and visual arts, that gradually transformed him into a visual artist.
He was soon known in all the environments related to electronic arts for his project called “Pornorobotz”, whose animated characters became
protagonists of the Italian musical nights, sometimes even more than the guest Djs themselves.
Between 2007 and 2012 he lived in Florence, Bologna and Rome, and performed in famous clubs of northern and central Italy, including:
Cocoricò, Alcatraz, Tinì Soundgarden, Kindergarten, Cassero, Centralpark.
He took part in numerous festivals such as Love festival, Elettrowave, Nextech, Fabbrica Europa, Muv Festival, Festival of Creativity, Circo
Nero, Metempsicosi Robotour, working side by side with big artists as Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Anthony Rother, Richie Hawtin, Satoshi Tomiie,
Marco Carola, Cassy, Ellen Allien, Apparat, Magda, Tobi Neumann, Skin, Tiga, Sebastian, Crookers.
He also undertook teaching activities in graphic and web design training courses.
Between 2012 and 2013 he moved to Switzerland. Here he learned the 3D mapping technique and improved his visual style, turning it into an
interactive performance .
